Kabbalistic Magic: On How to Use the Mystical Interpretations of the Jewish Holy Books in Adventure Role-Playing Games by Simcha Kuritzky This is an odd one. Written for a Role Playing Game audience, it also happens to be one of the best short introductions to traditional Kabbalistic magic I have seen. Exceptionally well-informed.

The 50 Gates of Understanding by Jeff Spiegel Written in response to Bill Heidrick’s article above, it presents a traditional Jewish view of the 50 Gates.

TechGnosis by Erik Davis (posted to Usenet) An essay which deconstructs the Hermetic and Gnostic worlds of the magician to unravel a golden thread which permeates cyberspace and cyberculture. Brilliant. You can find more of Davis’s wonderful essays at Erik Davis’ Figments. See also the 1998 book also titled Techgnosis.

The Kircher Tree In many places in Bill Heidrick’s notes he refers to the “Kircher Tree”. This is the Kircher Tree of Life, from Oedipus Aegyptiacus published in 1652 by Athanasius Kircher, a Jesuit priest.
